Oversee or overseeing?
Hi all,
I'm working on my resume here & am experiencing some doubts.
Do you say, "I'm working part-time at a gym assisting kids gymnastics class where I have to manage, instruct and engage kids of ages ranging 3-9 years old as well as overseeing operations to ensure smooth function." or "I'm working part-time at a gym assisting kids gymnastics class where I have to manage, instruct and engage kids of ages ranging 3-9 years old as well as oversee operations to ensure smooth function."
Is it 'overseeing', continuing from working part-time at a gym or 'oversee'? 'Oversee' feels intuitively right but I can't explain why in determinable terms. Which is right & what is the explanation for it? Thanks in advance! Much appreciated.

I would use 'oversee' there because the immediate antecedant of 'as well as' is the manage, instruct and engage' part, not the "working part-time' part.
