Otherworldly, or dualist

Question

HiIn other words, all of these traditions (Buddhism, Jainism ...) are otherworldly, or dualist. Theydon’t hark back to the pre-Fall vision of the world in a complete way because theydon’t see the whole of the material world as the manifestation of spirit-force.--- What does "otherworldly" mean here? Maybe "not from this world" or "transcendental"?Also: Does it say "...otherworldly, that is dualist"? Does ",or" mean "that is" in this case or just "and"?

With the comma there it is an explanation of the previous term (your "that is").

I have no idea what all their terms mean, and I don't think anyone else does either. My best guess is that otherworldly here means "other than the pure spirit world"; i.e., there isthe world, the one that is a manifestation of spirit force, and these "traditions" also explain reality in terms of another world, hence the dualism.

I've actually finished.

In the dictionary I found such explanations for otherworldly:

Of, relating to, or characteristic of another world, especially a mystical or transcendental world: "The effect was dreamy, otherworldy"

or

Devoted to the world of the mind; concerned with intellectual or imaginative things.

--- I'm also not sure what it means here, but I would just say that "these traditions" are from a "different world" meaning that they are "strange" or something like that.
