Hi, benita.

I had been wondering why it can only contain one letter. After a whole-day thinking, I figured it out: Because the letter has some abstract meaning. e.g :

If you receive a letter, which contains two letters in the envelope, and you haven't unpacked it yet, then you might say "I received one letter". Can you say "I received two letters." ? I don't think so,

Yes of course, Avim. I was just kidding about the envelope containing two letters. If the riddle mentioned two letters, it would be very misleading.
