NEED ADVICE - Cover letter for video games industry - please have a look .

Hello , I have just found you on the net , I am trying to get a job at one specific company this is my dream , I have a job have the experience I am afraid i made my cover letter too formal and too self centered . Please advice when you have time.

Game Tester

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to fulfill a lifelong dream and become an active participant in creating and improving

MMORPG games. Most of my free time is devoted to computer games, especially on-line games. I

wish to apply for the position of Game Tester/QA – at XXXXX YYYYY in
ZZZZ, France.

Over the last few years, I have been employed in testing high-standard, large and complex software in

a global enterprise. I have extensive technical background, vast knowledge and experience in the

computer game market and am a member of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA).

I am dedicated MMORG player.

During the last 10 years I have kept up-to-date on announcements, press-releases, demos, changes –

and everything connected with computer games market through the websites, magazines and media

designed for this purpose such as “IGN”, “Gamespot”, “Gamespy”, “MMO-champion” and “PC

Gamer”. I have been playing MMORPG games for many years: “Ultima”, “Lineage 2”, “Ragnarok”,

“Eve” and “World of Warcraft”. I have continually follow-up on any changes in MMO games

mechanics, game balance and in MMO heroic fantasy worlds. For the past three years, I have been

keeping abreast of all Gaming worldwide events and conferences.

I have a basic knowledge of Web software language and technologies such as HTML and XML

I can vouch for myself that I have excellent interpersonal skills. My proficiency in Russian, Ukrainian,

English and Hebrew helps me get messages across clearly and persuasively. I am creative and

dynamic, extremely responsible, highly motivated and have proven ability to integrate in a work team

in any organizational culture.

Attached is my résumé attesting to the training and experience I have acquired throughout my varied

working career, and which will surely assist me in succeeding in the job. However, I would be pleased

to provide further details in a personal meeting and to be tested as to my complete suitability to the

position offered.

Perhaps you could make it shorter and be more effective. Here is an example:
Dear Sir/Madam,
