Natural?/ and correct?
1. I don't know he may have invited how many guests to the party.
2. I don't know how many guests he may have invited to the party.
I heard that two sentences are grammatically correct.
Then which is more natural to hear?
One more question; If I put if or whether after 'I don't know', the sentense does not make sence?
(I don't know if/whether he may have invited how many guests to the party)

"If" or "whether" makes no sense to me in either version.
