Sentence 2 is more natural than 1. In 2 'my' is already implied by the fact that the subject of the sentence is "I", so there is no need to say "my" later in the sentence.

For the same reason it is not natural to say I want me to travel in Europe some day. We omit "me" because the subject is "I".

As CJ said, that is the best, but there are other ways of saying the same thing that are less formal and stilted.
