Motivation letter for environmental volunteer

Hello,
I want to write a motivational letter for an environmental volunteer service but I need some help and advices.
This is what I have writen still now.

I would like to apply for the job of a volunteer at the “” program.
I have been in “” twice and I have remained fascinated from this place.
What impressed me more is the magnificence of the environment and the sense of freedom and peace of living in contact with it. I found that people respect very much the delicate balance of the land and put it at first place.
I would love to help preserving the environment of “” too. It is also my wish to live and work there one day.

For me has always been important to learn about other cultures and places and to be in contact with their people. The language, on my opinion, is the best tool to get to this. For this reason I left my country and came in “” where I graduated in “Foreign Languages and Literature” studying English and Spanish. Then, by myself, I have studied French.
Throughout my job career I have always practiced and improved my knowledge of English and Spanish being in contact with people of different nationalities.
In the past years, I volunteered for environmental issues, and for children and elderly.
If “” Program has a need for a dedicated volunteer, I would be thrilled to have the opportunity to assist it.
I would choose to leave my job for this opportunity and I would be available to volunteer at your convenience.
