meaning of "take a stroll"
I take a stroll in my neighbourhood in the evening.
How would you understand the above sentence?
I can understand it in the following ways :
(1) I move here and there in the area of my neighbourhood.
Or
(2) First I go to Mr. B's house for a gossip, then Mr C's house, then Mr D's house and go on changing houses around my neighbourhood for a time pass.
