Would you break down the parts I underlined for me?

(FYI. the main character is a hotel clark and he has a coworker who's trying to break into the movie business. He's been told to sell out all the rooms, so discounted the prices from $150 to &99. Here you go:)
So I start selling rooms for $99 and in one hour I've sold seven. The reader should note that the manager has a computer at home and monitors the hotels occupancy and rates from home. I can't believe I made it an hour before the manager calls again. The phone rings and it's him. I have to put him on hold because I'm talking with a guest and he's pissed when I come back on the line. He's warning me that he'll get out of his pajamas and come down and fire me.
I don't know what he's waiting for, this is a miserable dead end hotel and I hope my coworkers' script makes it out of here alive.
Thank you, M
