'me trying'Does this mean 'that I am trying' - In general 'me + verb-ing' = 'that I am -ing' ?For example:I don't mind me turning the music...... (I don't mind that I am turning the music....).... without me trying. (.... without that I am trying)ThanksLS

You don't want this. Of course you don't mind something that you yourself do!
The subjects of the two actions (minding, turning up) have to be different.

Use one of these:

I don't mind if [you / they / ...] turn the music up. (very common)
I don't mind [you / them / ...] turning the music up. (conversational)
I don't mind [your /their / ...] turning the music up. (more formal; more likely to be used in writing)

Or as a question:

Do you mind if I turn up the music?
Do you mind me turning up the music?
Do you mind my turning up the music?

By the way, both turn the music up and turn up the music are OK.

louiST.... without me trying. (.... without that I am trying)

Jerry can do that without trying. (without that he tries is the meaning, but it's not grammatical.)

Jerry is the subject of the sentence and Jerry is also the person doing the trying, so you don't repeat "he" or "his" or "him" with "trying".

It's like with "want". You say, "I want to have another dessert", not "I want me to have another dessert".

It's grammatical, even though it isn't completely clear what she's trying to do. I suppose it's "without her trying to make her hair fall perfectly".

I feel bad for not having invited her. / I feel bad that I didn't invite her.

These structures have various names, none of which are important. Basically you're doing exercises with the -ing form.

saw/heard (him) take/scream ~ You're thinking of it as a completed event that you observed.
saw/heard (him) taking/screaming ~ You're thinking of it as an activity that you observed during the time it was happening.

In the first case, it's like He [took ... / screamed], and I [saw / heard] it.
In the second case, it's like He [was taking ... / was screaming], and I [watched / listened to] it.

Not everybody agrees with me that this helps or that it always works, but I think of the first as a remark about a photo I saw, and the second as a remark about a movie I watched.
