Which is correct "Looking forward to end" or "Looking forward to ending" ? I've heard that "Looking forward to ending" but I can't understand why ? Shouldn't it be "to end" ?

"to" in "look forward to" is not part of an infinitive. It's a preposition. The only verb form that can follow a preposition is the -ing form.
