Looking at life in clear weather

A certain psychic says that when people are overloaded with energy they should clear and ground themselves and in this way get rid of an excess of energy. Then she says that clearing exercises which she presented earlier in the book are similar to cleaning windows and looking at life in clear weather. When you're not grounded and clear, it's like looking at life through dirty windows during an electrical storm.
--- What does she mean by saying "looking at life in clear weather"? I suppose when the weather is nice we have a better approach to life, we're not so depressed, so maybe "looking at life in clear weather" is looking at life optimistically?

She says you must be both grounded and clear, but offers no analogy for being grounded. You may be reading too much into it. I don't think getting a better look at something necessarily makes it appear more positive.

We use the expression "looking at the world through rose colored glasses" to describe the "optimistic" view.
