I can't say I've ever known those 2 to have the same meaning... " Nonentity: Something that does not exist or exists only in the imagination - " Imagine them not even getting his name right. " Lightweight is used rather frequently.

Lightweight: Something with little weight - "This notebook/laptop is very lightweight, so it will be easy to carry."
Nonentity: Something that does not exist or exists only in the imagination - "Imagine them not even getting his name right. It's almost as though he's a complete nonentity, isn't it?"
