It's common knowledge that Beyonce' invented the word "Bootylicious", but did she in fact originate the entire "-licious" suffix? I honestly can't say I remember the "licious" suffix anywhere pre"Bootylicious", except for possibly "Bubblicious". If Beyonce' indeed invented the suffix, would this be the first time that a person single-handedly and unquestionably coined an entire word suffix?
Also, what's the AUE's take on hip-hop slang and hip-hoppers who invent English words which go on to be widespread? Diss, bling, and licious are probably the three most notorious examples, invented by 2Pac, B.G./Pink, and Beyonce' respectively.
