I'll give you an example of what you probably don't want to say:

Dear Teacher,

Please bring bacon and sausage everyday to school, I love it!

Ok, to be serious, why do you even need to write a letter? I'd just discuss it with him. But if you do, I'd write it like:

Dear Professor:
As a member of the Islamic faith, I would kindly request that halal foods be available for Islamic students.

Then provide examples how Halal food could be integrated into the menu without undue disturbance to other students.
