Davis: Even though we've just met?
You're really leaping out on limb for me. Sacrificing for him?

Chloe: Well, if what they say is
true and fools do rush in,(quick to jump into conclusions?) then I have definitely earned the
mantle of "village idiot" on this one. She would be the biggest idiot of all?

in she'll be hard on herself?

You're really leaping out on (a) limb for me - you are helping me, which means you trust me (as if someone on a tree branch is trying to pull another person up, even though the branch may break)
