Hi! everyone.Could you tell me whether the following sentences are synonymous?It was only after her death that I came to know him better.It was only after her death that I got well acquainted with her.It was only after her death that I got familiarized with her personality/identity(what's the difference?) better.Thanks!

They can't be synonymous if one sentence mentions a man where another sentence mentions a woman.

Moreover, it's not clear in the second and third sentence whether the two 'her's reference the same woman or two different women. It might be better to provide women's names rather than using only pronouns throughout.

Personality involves personal traits that answer questions such as "Is she cheerful? Morose? Loving? Sneaky? Gossipy? Helpful? Crazy? Needy? Generous?" Identity can be a simpler matter. "What is her name?"

I recommend that you clear up these matters and post your question again.
