Kindly correct the following sentences
Note that the following items were cancelled by the client, but these items are still being held in the above project as the client
has not yet issued a permission to remove the same.

I don't find it particularly wrong, maybe just replace 'the same' with 'them'. If u wanna make it easier to understand, put a stop somewhere betwn client and these items
