Question

In voluntary section which I usually answer, in nationality/race/culture, it lists both caucasion and American White. I am a 4th generation American...realistically with many strains of nationality in my veins. Is there a clear distinction between Caucasian and White American I am missing or have not heard of?

I have no idea what the difference might be, but I do know that it is no longer legal to ask that question. Leave it blank.

Here is what Wikipedia offers, however:
