I've ordered/ordered
1. I'm talking to my friend on the phone in real time and I'm telling her that:
"I've ordered a drink so please don't get me anything else, thanks." OR should it be:
"I ordered a drink so please don't get me anything else, thanks."
Should I always use the present perfect tense when I'm speaking to someone in the present about something that just happened or....?
2. I've never thought I'd be doing this but here goes nothing. Or should it be:
I never thought I'd be doing this but here goes nothing.
Again sentences above are me speaking to a friend in real time(present).
