Is this sentence structure correct?

Just wondering if the below sentence structure is correct?

"during the last 2 years, I managed to finish a degree, work as a waiter, start my own business and also look after my kids."

or should I say:

"during the last 2 years, I managed to finishing my degree, working as a waiter, starting my own business and also looking after my kids."

The first one is correct. Am I right?
