One day, he dreamed that he was still alive when he was 130 years old.

Another possibility though someone may correct me here. m. at the moment) One day, he dreamed that he WILL still BE alive when he IS 130 years old.

I think the one Help Wanted posted in the beginning is the correct one, because it's the subjunctive again that's required here - don't you think so?

Your original sentence looks fine to me though I would prefer it like this:

One day he dreamed that he was 130 years old and still alive.
