Is my English email correct and formal?

Further to our discussion about holding a seminar and workshop in I., some steps have already been taken to achieve this. Based on those efforts, the holding of a seminar and workshop at the following universities is possible:
1- X University. Our university is a Center of Excellence for in Biomedical Engineering in Azad universities.
2- X1 University. A Center of Excellence in Biomedical Engineering in National Universities.
3- X2 University. Simultaneously with the 20th Iranian Conference on Biomedical Engineering (ICBME 2013) that will be held on ABAN.
Furthermore, I have had a meeting with my supervisor, Professor G. R,. about your proposal.
I will make the necessary arrangements for the seminar and workshop after you and Professor G. R. have agreed on the proposed venue.
