is it gonna be next week already?
Hi everyone! I'm bit confused while forming a phrase that is going to express exactly what I intent to:
‘‘Hey, John, I'm confused. When are we going to Paris? Is it next month or *is it next week already?*’’
’’When is the play? Is it (gonna be??) tomorrow already or is it next week?’’
‘‘When is Maria going to give birth? Is it gonna be next week already?No,but it will be still in this month.’’
Is this the correct way to express that something is going to happen in a short period of time and I'm surprised that it's happening so soon (It's tomorrow already and not next week)
or it's only used to express impatience? (is it tomorrow already? = I can't wait for tomorrow/ I wish today was tomorrow).

You can't use "already" like that. " Do not write "gonna" (except in special situations when you deliberately want your writing to look very casual). Write "going to" instead.
