Move "will be" to refer to the time. Remove "afternoon", since it is implied by "1pm." This makes it correct.

Also "Double-check" and "make sure that" mean nearly the same thing here, so you could probably just use one:

I would like to be considered for the position of secretary. I have worked in a variety of office based positions for a few years and would add immensely to this position. I have worked as a receptionist/administrative assistant in many setting and have significant experience in the task specified for this role. I am able to undertake tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering calls, maintaining files and undertaking general office work. A number of utilized skills have afforded me to be able to deal in effective communication, research, having the initiative to get things done, adaptability, strong integrity and quality work to excel in any job function. As well as provide a reasonable solution resulting in a remarkable interaction for our customer.

Since I have been a part of this great company, I have been recognized for achieving several amazing call reviews. My efforts has not only benefited the customer, but the enterprise as well. I have aided in retention and improved customer satisfaction by positively contributing to increased results in First Contact Resolution. I am able to serve as a vital resource and share best practices to assist peers and newly hired associates with call flows and customer resolution which also helps in this attainment. Being an effective vital resource can come into play when dealing with uncertain processes. In those cases of when certain applications; ie: state farm answers, may not provide every answer research is needed. The more of a team effort to assist helps more than just one representative. It is paramount in such an environment.

I present as highly motivated, ambitious, and quality result oriented team player, who is experienced in taking multiple inbound calls from customers regarding many products and services. I process a great trait in being adaptable to change; which makes for an ever seeking greater business acumen. I take initiative and self-management in being proactive with solving problems.
