influence childrence
Hi,
Say, there is a group of three discussing topic of "Does the violence on TV/movie/games etc worry you".
In such a discussion, we could often hear about "the children 'affected/influenced' by such a movie/game/or other things".
So when we say somebody is affected by something then that means somebody was changed in a particular way because of the something.
For example, say, I have become a famous basketball player because Jordan was my hero, can I say like "I was very much influenced by him".
Is that right?
Thanks in advance.
