Independent clauses with the same subject
I know that 2 independent clauses with 2 different subjects require a comma and conjunction. for example: "He ran, and the dog jumped."
What about this sentence? "She gave me her hand, and she told me she loved me. I know that if I take out the second "she" then I don't use the comma. But if I want the second "she" for some sort of effect, so I use the comma or not?
