Including - comma

Is the insertion of a comma before "including" incorrect here?

I have attached my CV, which highlights the experience I would bring, including: (a list of bullet points follows this).

I would say that bullet points should be used only in the CV, not in the covering letter. Traditionally, the letter should be written in the form of standard text.
