Is "in any case" correctly used?

Hi, Seems fine to me, in this context. You have a lot of 'thats' here. You might possibly say even if one accepts that objection as sound .

Yes, yes, you're right, but I was just giving the idea, because I didn't want to copy the whole thing. And the "that fact that" is a mistake I made.
