Grammar
I'm almost certain all sentences are correct. PLEASE tell me?
I'm pretty sure all these are correct except maybe one. Are these grammatical?
- He always asks for 2 to 3 times the amount he pays so that money doesn't come out of his pocket.
- We got home just as the clouds broke.
- The glasses are the only things I know where they are. (this one isn't)
- We weren't brought up the same way./in the same way.
- The sun makes me fall asleep.
- I've been paid for my services already.
- I need to rest even if it means being late for work.
- He's different when he's with me than when he's with her.
- What I would do not to work tomorrow.

I am not sure what you are trying to say in sentence #1. It really does not make sense. " Better would be "I only know where the glasses are.

Sentence #3 should be "The glasses are the only things that I know where they are." Better would be "I only know where the glasses are. I don't know where any of the other things are."

What I am trying to say in number 1 is
X buys a product for x amount and sells it for 2 to 3 times that amount so that he can buy another one for free without having to spend any money himself.
Are the other sentences correct by any chance?
