Hello. Do you think there's any difference between these sentences?
1. I'll be staying here a little longer then.
2. I'll stay here a little longer then.
The original dialogue is:
M: I'd like to check this dictionary out.
F: I'm afraid that dictionaries can't be taken from [out of] the library.
[I'm sorry, but]
M: Oh, I see. Well, I'll be staying here a little longer then.
