If I write vs. If I wrote
A. Please tell me if I write something wrong.
B. Please tell me if I wrote something wrong.
C. I hope you can help if I write something thing.
D. I hope you can help if I wrote something wrong.
E. You can present another ID if you forget your passport.
F. You can present another ID if you forgot your passport.
1. Which is correct in each pair of sentences above?
2. If both are correct, what is the difference?
3. Also both are correct, which is more reasonable and more likely a native speaker would say?

At least for me I'd say "Please tell me if I have written something wrong. It's because you are focusing on the present result of past action "wrote".

I understand the present perfect tense is much better, but would you say, then, that 'write' and 'wrong', and 'forget' and 'forgot' are wrong in my sentences?
