The diagram depicts the ways in which carbonated drinks are made. Overall, this is a largely mechanical process comprising five main stages: water cleaning, heating evaporation and carbonation, mixing, filtering and filling, and finally packaging and delivering to supermarkets. The first three stages are equipped with a continuous pipeline transport system.

The first stage begins with raw water being conveyed to a manufacturing plant through a pipeline. The water is filtered and then treated with water softeners and chemicals to remove certain undesirable minerals before being pumped through electrical heaters, which, in the second stage, evaporate the water to turn it into steam leaving behind unwanted elements. The steam is cooled and turned back to liquid, which is then infused with carbon dioxide. The third stage involves a mixing tank, which pumps colouring, syrup and flavor into the carbonated water and mixes them together by an impeller. Another filtering follows. Fourth, bottles and cans are filled with the drink and then packed in a carton box separately. Finally, the boxes are loaded into a truck, which transfers them to supermarkets.
