0 Hi, im 15 years old and recently sat my end of year exams, the thing is, my grades in my coursework  are letting me down, and its all because of silly mistakes such as capital letters and paragraphs. 02br02br00I'm working at a level D, but the mistakes made are dragging me down to a level D which is definately not good, as i know i am capable of doing the work. 02br02br00In an essay I am currently writing, I need a name for a word given to an onject to bring it to life, for e.g the wind roared. The wind isn't real but the use of a..........has given it life.  02br02br00Please can u suggest nefink that may help me as soon as possible please, coz the essay has 2 b in soon. 0 Well, 'roared' is a (dead) 'metaphor', when applied to 'wind'. You could also consider 'pathetic fallacy', which is the attribution of human or animal attributes or feelings to inanimate objects or phenomena. 02br

00Guest - I think you need more than "a word"! Could I suggest that if you are making "silly mistakes" in your exams, it might help to practice standard English when you post here? I know these abbreviations are "standard" on the internet, but its not surprising (to me at least) that you can't use correct English when you want to if you are in the habit of writing like this. 02br
