I have drunk
Hi
So these two sentences sound fine:
I have eaten.
I have been eating.
However with these the first one sounds wrong:
I have drunk.
I have been drinking.
Why can't I say "I have drunk"?

Anonymous Hi So these two sentences sound fine: I have eaten. Thanks! All of your sentences are devoid of context, so they all sound bare and stilted, but in the right environment, there's no reason you can't use all of them.
