I did not eat anything for three days.

I did not eat anything in the last three days.

I did not eat anything for the last three days.

I did not eat anything during the last three days.

I did not eat anything in the last three days. - OK - I haven't eaten anything in the last three days.

I did not eat anything for the last three days. - OK I did not eat anything for three days. But this doesn't mean the last three days.
