EXPLAINATION:

Meaning, I have gone there many times in the past (indefinite time, meaning, it does not specify the definite time of going to HONGKONG for several times. There are some of the TIME SIGNALS or TIME EXPRESSION for the Present Perfect Tense, namely, several times, oftentimes, seldom, many times, etc.

Unlike in the simple past, where IT IS ON DEFINITE TIME using some TIME EXPRESSIONS such as AGO, THIS MORNING, LAST, A MINUTE AGO, AN HOUR AGO, SOME WEEKS AGO, OR YEARS AGO, YESTERDAY, etc.
