How to use these phrases appropriately.

enter for, take part in, participate in, engage in.

take part = join in or be involved in an activity,which means it is equal to "participate in" take part in ---> Are you planning to take part in the seminar next week? participate in ----> In a modern democracy people want to be invited to participate in politics more. engage in has several meanings but most of them more or less turn around the same thing.

Thanks for your help. Another question, which one can be used in the following sentence:
I have ___ several projects.

to me all of them OK. if you should ask which sounds better lets wait a native speaker.

however i would prefer

I have engaged in several projects. (in meaning occupied with,busy with)

That's the least likley one I would have chosen. I have participated in several projects. I have been a part of several projects.
