How to say it better?? :)
Hi! I doubt about these sentences! could you please tell how to say better that children could feel not only the taste of Russian life - they knew alot about each other! About Russian and German life! But I don't know how to write it... Could you help me?!
In 2005 I had an international group of children from Germany and Russia. My main task was to assist them while improving their language skills. I was also responsible for organizing different activities so that they could feel the taste of Russian social and cultural life in all its variety . We organized theatre performances, played sport and picnicked with guitar songs.
And also I'm not sure anout picnicked with guitar songs! Is it possible to say so?

We organized theatre performances, played sport and we did picnics with guitars' songs.
