How to end a sentence ?
Hello 
I am not sure if the end of the sentence is correct.
"A user is authorized to join the voice channels and the text channels that have been made available to him/them."
Those are my two ideas on how to end this sentence. Maybe you have a better idea of ending this sentence, please share your thoughts and correct me if I'am wrong.

The choice of pronoun to refer to a single person of unspecified ***, such as a "a user", is a perennial problem in English. In your sentence, I think that most people would accept "them", outside of a very careful formal writing context. "him", which used to be common in such cases, is now frowned upon.
