How native say this

If someone lost his sleep because of some financial or domestic problems how natives say this? I lost my sleep? I don't know if I could expressed myself correctly.

"I was losing sleep"

"I was losing sleep over it." (= because of it)
"I was losing sleep because of all the problems."

etc.

Sorry, you can also say "I lost sleep" (for one occasion).

"I was losing sleep" refers to this happening recurringly over a period of time.

Correct me if I'm wrong please but I guess we should also add that if the whole situation is recent and still happening then we should say I've been losing sleep over some problems I've been having.
