Is it different from homosexual? I think gay describes a man who is interested in men.
and lesbian is the woman who is interested in woman. we have gay rights , but I haven't heard about lesbian rights or lesbian organizations.
I have the impression that when we are talking about gay, lesbians are included. Let me know if I am right.
Meanwhile, I would be grateful if you can think of polite and impolite words for addressing gay and lesbians.
For example we have the word negro for black which is impolite and offensive and should not be used.
I wonder if we have such a thing for homosexuals too.
Thanks
