I'm writing a letter describing how my area looks like. Please proofread it.

Here doesn't snow at all. If it does, the snow only lasts 1 hour max. I was in Minnesota in December 2017 so I know how it feels with snow and I don't like it. Too cold and the snow makes the road slippery, not fun.

Consider changing the first sentence to something like:

Here, it hardly ever snows.

or

Here, it rarely snows.
