Help with less redundant/bookish sentences

Yes, I keep reading, listening, and speaking but they haven't helped much. I guess the question is how to learn from them in the most efficient way.

You will learn from reading and listening, but if you don't actively participate in those activities, the learning process will be relatively slow. Make sure you are actively keeping yourself alert for new or even puzzling ways of saying things whenever you are reading or listening.
