Help with grammar and other essay i have proofread it and fix some of the errors myself want to be sure

High school and College are very important to everyone all over the world. Everyone

needs a good education in order to succeed in life. Without an education people would not be

able to do any of our career jobs like teaching, owing a business, or any other jobs. High school

and college is a remarkable thing for everyone to experience but it is a very difficult task.

High school and college are very much alike but are different as well. High school and college

instructors, the curriculums, and the schedules, are the three most important things that have

similarities and differences.

In my experiences through high school and college I have notice many similarities and

differences between my high school teacher and college professor. The similarities are common

grading test, being around students all day, and teaching students. There are many differences

between teachers and professors. One example would be that teachers are trained in teaching

methods to help make them better teachers. Professors are experts in their particular areas of

study. Another is that teachers often remind students about missing assignments, due dates, and

incomplete work. Professors expect students to follow the course syllabus. Unlike high school

teachers professors treat students as adults and have high expectation for their students which

shapes and influence their behavior.

High school and college schedule have many similarities and differences. Some of the

similarities are high school and college schedules both do not have classes on Sundays or

Holidays. And they both offer summer school classes. One difference is college allows students

to attend school part time. In high school students have to attend school full time. Another

difference is high school is twenty six weeks long with the same classes for both semesters.

College classes are fourteen weeks long then it’s a new semester and students can take new

classes. When I was a student in high school I had no choice of when I wanted to attend class

and attendance was mandatory. Now that I’m in college, I can pick the time I want to go to class

but attendance is still necessary to pass the course. College makes students realize that they

have to be responsible in order to be successful.

High school and college curriculums have few similarities and differences. One similarity

is that both curriculums have requirements and electives. Another similarity is both curriculums

emphasize math, literature, history, science, and writing skills. The curriculums also have some

differences. One difference is college offer different curriculums for each degree program they

offer. High school does not. Another difference is high school classes are one credit hour.

College courses are three or more credit hours. Last difference is in order to graduate from high school one must have twenty three credit hours. To graduate from college one must have one hundred credit hours. Unlike high school college gives students options on when they want to go to class, and what major they want to study in. College shows students how to become adults
