You get lots of 02br00Spam and guaranteed to get NO JOBS!02br02br00Shadowshopper allows consumers to signup for the first month for pretty cheap02br00but then without your permission or knowledge they will charge you $59.00..02br02br00"I tried to call them, but got a recorded message that directed me to email the 02br00company with any questions I may have. So I emailed some guy named 02br00Johnathon who emailed me back with a reply that reiterated all the terms and 02br00conditions and he basically stated in his own words “ knew full well what the 02br00terms and conditions were, agreed to them and have none to blame but myself. 02br00He ended the email with ALL SALES ARE FINAL. I have no other recourse02br00except by alerting  others through Rip-off Report. And was actually interested 02br00in renewing my  membership to a 90 Day membership but Johnathon couldn't 02br00care less. " says  one consumer on RipOffReport.com. 02br02br00I recently submitted a trial membership for Shadowshopper.com. which was02br00like  $5 or something. I looked at my bank statement and there was a 02br00WITHDRAWAL FORM MY ACCOUNT (unauthorized) for with a $59, 02br00which is the charge for a year membership to this website. 02br02br00I immediately contacted my bank letting them know this was an unauthorized 02br00charge. I have sent several emails to shadowshopper.com and have not had 02br00any replies. 02br02br00I also find it ironic that this company who solicits jobs for rating customer 02br00service  in other companies has such poor customer service. I have found their02br00customer  service department one of the poorest I have ever had to deal 02br00with.02br02br00They hide membership cancellation instructions to prevent people from closing 02br00their subscription, thereby automatically signing them up for a year and charging 02br00unapproved upon fees.” Says Jolynn.02br02br02br00###02br00I can put a thank you on the page this is goingon... 0I, too, have been scammed by Shadowshopper.com. I elected a trial bronze membership in January for 30 days. At that time, I also changed my account preference to indicate that I would renew my membership myself if I wanted and that Shadowshopper did not have the authorization to do anything as far as membership. I even printed a copy of my account preference at that time.02br

00I got my bank statement only to discover that I was charged $99.00 to move to a gold membership. I called and got the same voicemail that stated I had to contact them by email. I contacted them only to recieve a reply from this "Jonathon" person with the same rude and belittling remarks that I knew what I was signing up for. I then contacted him back and told him that yes, I knew what I signed up for and that I also had a "hard printed copy" of my preference. 02br

00After another equally rude email, I informed him that I was, indeed writing a piece for a magazine and for an online newspaper about companies that scam the public. With this in mind, I once again offered to submit my hard copy as proof that I did not authorize a gold membership and asked that if he could not help me with this matter, to please refer me to someone that can. I even gave him my contact phone number.02br

00Once agan I got a rude reply. This time I informed him that I definitely wanted to speak to someone else in charge of the company for an interview for my article. That I would like to resolve this matter before I went to print. I asked him to please give my phone number to his supervisor or the owner of the company. Needless to say, the only response was from "Jonathon" himself. He told me that he would not give me a refund; that I could sue or do whatever. Customer service at its' best - I think not. The consumer should be aware of this company and not do business with them. The only thing that you will get is scammed! 0-
