Look for another way to sincerely answer a prospect's question and solve his problem. No problem has just one solution yet even the best of us sometimes fall into the "this will never fly" trap.

Can anyone explain what does the whole last sentence "No problem has just one solution yet even the best of us sometimes fall into the "this will never fly" trap." mean?

yet but

even the best of us even very smart people

sometimes fall into the "this will never fly" trap." make the mistake of looking at a new solution and thinking that it will never work.

fall into a trap means make a mistake

something will never fly is an idiomatic way of saying something will never work.
