Help -

Hi,

I just read this sentence:
'Thank you all for helping me having the best year.' 

Shouldn't it be:
'Thank you all for helping me have the best year.'

What do you think?

Or: help me to find, help me to lift, help me to carry. Help can take either the full infinitive or the bare

Yes. help is unusual in that way, so it's worth repeating the facts about its usage.

Not exactly, no. 'dare' is more like a modal verb, and it's not typically used in an assertion - just in negations and questions.

You can say "I will not carry ..." or "I dare not carry ...", but not "I help not carry ...", for example.
