Hello! Could you help me, please?
It's well-known we can say both following sentences:
I have been to Paris. = I went there and then went back.
I have been in Paris. = I visited it.
But what about the Past Simple?
Can we say "I was to Paris last year." or only "I was in Paris last year."?
