How do we write some wishes if the teacher is going to retirement?

Something such as the following would be appropriate: "I (or we) wish you the best of luck in the future. I hope you will enjoy having time to do all of the things you did not have time for when you were teaching. Thank you so much for all that you have taught us and all the encouragement you have offered to us.
